International Paralympic Day (VNR)

On 11 July 2009, the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin will once more build the backdrop for Paralympic sport and enable spectators to experience first-hand the inspiration and excitement of Paralympic athletes. The event will not only showcase how sport unifies people around the world but also the particular chances and challenges sport represents for persons with a disability.
The 2009 edition of the IPD will bring together medal winners from the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games.
